Job Title: Senior Analyst Department: Forensic and Valuation

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of each case/project from start to finish, including gathering and organizing data, communicating with clients and attorneys, conducting outside research, performing detailed financial analysis with complex valuation/litigation/tax theory, and preparing a well-supported and articulate report of findings.  The Analyst will participate in staff training and development. Analyst will be responsible for updating and enhancing templates and research library.  Working hand-in-hand with the department manager, the Analyst will establish a niche practice and has the opportunity to become an expert in that area.  Unlimited growth is available and promoted.

Senior Analyst will typically be involved with the following types of analysis:

  • Forensic Accounting for fraud and misappropriations
  • Ownership disputes and capital account analysis
  • Business Damages (lost profits & diminution of value)
  • Family Law income analysis and asset tracing
  • Construction Defect damages
  • Business Valuations and Calculations
  • Gift and estate tax valuations
  • Merger, Acquisition, and Buyouts
  • Valuations for Family Law

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or business related major, or equivalent years of experience in litigation consulting or valuation
  • 3+ years of experience with litigation consulting and/or business valuation
  • Licensed (or pending) in one or more of the following preferred: CPA, ABV, CVA, CFE, CFF
  • Familiar with QuickBooks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of family law statutes preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Flawless attention to detail
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, billable environment
