SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Audit Senior Staff will be responsible for preparation of various types of assurance and accounting engagements, fulfilling bookkeeping needs, and assisting in preparation of tax returns related to assurance and accounting clients. They will also have an advanced understanding of GAAP accounting principles and basic tax forms as well as an ability to meet their budget and hour goals.

Must have obtained CPA licensure.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Mastery of the following knowledge and skills

    • Perform technical research on standards and pronouncements utilizing RIA/Checkpoint
    • Understanding risk assessment and implementing proper audit procedures
    • Understanding of client internal control processes
    • Ability to create opportunities for client best practices including management letter comments
    • General planning procedures

    • Performing first review of workpapers
    • Performing first review of financial statements
